Prague has finally placed Czech Republic on the map, as it has become a must-see place for all kinds of travelers. People from all over the world flock to this part of Europe to go sightseeing, shopping, and most of all, to get a taste of the famous Czech beer.
One day is not enough to savor all the sights of this historic city but that was all the time we had so we just had to make the most out of it. I recently traveled to Prague via road trip with my relatives from Germany. After about three hours of cruising along the autobahn and several pit stops, we finally arrived at our destination.
Sightseeing and Shopping
The best way to see Prague is through your dependable two feet. All you need are very comfortable shoes and a city map then you’re good to go. Take note through that you will walk on cobbled streets so high heels are a no-no.
Since we only had one day in Prague, we decided to head straight to the heart of the city and into the Old Town Square. There are plenty of restaurants and souvenir shops that line the streets, as this is a very popular tourist spot. You will find lots of people there any time of the day, many of who would just stare at one particular spot where the Astronomical Clock is located.
